The goal of FAMU Man Rising is to take a head-on stance against the detrimental factors that have lead to sharp decline in the quantity of refined, well-versed, respectful and versatile black men. Our means are not to look down on any man, but to resurrect, groom, and develop the potential for greatness within everyone of them. This is a modern day rites of passage and mentorship that will usher in a new generation of African-American men who will hallmark the new standard of excellence known as the FAMU Man.
